He’s proven at the class and trip, whereas morning line favorites Mitote and Malibu Son both won career debuts at the 4-1/2 furlong dash trip. Note horses going from debut dash wins like that to allowance races over this local distance the past 3 years are 2-for-16 with 12 of them out of the money.
