It's a mandatory payout in the Rainbow 6 pool Sunday at Gulfstream Park and a carryover of $557,110 awaits horseplayers.

Also note that today's Sunset 6 (final 3 races at Gulfstream and final 3 races at Santa Anita) has a $19,677 carryover. We've tapped local Gulfstream Park handicappers Ron Nicoletti and Brian Nadeau for a Sunday assist.

RACE 6: 1 WISTUCKY moves to the Jose D’Angelo barn via the claim and drops a level after making a middle move and weakening to finish fourth vs $35,000 two lifetime claimers going six furlongs. The barn, 25% with new claims, has Javier Castellano overseeing the stretchout to seven-eighths of a mile. 3 SHADOW COAST is debuting locally for Rohan Crichton in the first start since showing speed vs starter allowance runners at Churchill. The son of West Coast is worth a flyer at a price. 2 BEAR CLAW NECKLACE is stretching out to seven furlongs after hanging around to finish second vs similar quality going six panels. Dave Fawkes, who claimed him two starts back, has Tyler atop the previous winner at the distance.

RACE 7: 4 FINDING CANDY may have found the sweet spot to notch the maiden victory after finishing second behind a next-out winner in his turf debut at the distance. Antonio Sano adds Lasix and has John Velazquez in the saddle. 2 JUBILEE PARADE will try sprinting in the first outing since failing to launch a rally in his mile and a sixteenth debut on the Aqueduct turf. Bill Mott adds Lasix on the son of Kingsman, who is bred to like the shorter distance. 6 BURNING BRIDGES is a $250,000 son of Not This Time debuting for trainer Mark Casse with Lasix and a solid work tab showing. Edgard Zayas rides.

RACE 8: 3 STEEZE is making the usually fruitful third start of his current form cycle after dueling throughout in a swiftly run race at the distance where he finished a game second – beaten a neck. Riley Mott has Edgard Zayas named to ride. 2 STATESMAN should be primed and ready to offer more after returning from a 9-month layoff to finish a duel for the lead third behind the top choice. Shug McGaughey reunites the son of Constitution with John Velazquez. 1 ONLY IN AMERICA has trained forwardly at Palm Beach Downs in preparation for the first start since finishing second to repeat winner Accelerize at this level and distance in December. Todd Pletcher is 19% with the layoff.

RACE 9: 8 CORTA FUEGO is going back to the turf after moving to David Fawkes barn, scoring on the grass two back, and then coming empty in a $17,000 starter handicap on the Tapeta. It’s the old bounce/rebound angle.4 HOT BLOODED drops to the $20,000 level and cuts back to a mile after shaking of traffic at the quarter pole to finish second – beaten a half-length - vs $50,000 starter optional claimers going 8 1/2 furlongs. Steve Klesaris has Javier Castellano named to ride. 5 FLY THE W moves to the Amador Sanchez barn via the claim and shifts to the turf after returning locally to finish second on the Tapeta. The 10-year old gives new meaning to the term ‘hard-knocking senior citizen.

RACE 10: 9 NIC’S STYLE, who won the Hurricane Bertie here at this distance last year, stretches out after rallying 5 wide in the slop to finish second going six furlongs last out. John Velazquez rides the consistent daughter of Uncaptured (11-7-3-0). 8 ECLATANT, who won the Grade 3 Forward Gal here last February, returns with Lasix added after ending her summer campaign with a couple of poor showings vs stakes competition. Brad Cox is a strong 24% with the layoff. 7 PLEASANT EMBRACE has never been beaten locally (2-2-0-0), is 2 for 3 at the distance, and training sharply for Kelly Breen. Tyler Gaffalione rides this intriguing possibility.

RACE 11: 9 PLAYFUL PAL drops and needs to outrun his pedigree when this gelded son Cajun Breeze tries the turf and two turns. Trainer Mike Yates, who has a positive ROI with the surface switch, has him working sharply on the Tapeta. 7 AU NATUREL is going back to the turf after getting undressed when trying $35,000 maidens going around two turns on Tapeta. His performance on the grass two races back must be respected in this wide-open finale. 3 DAVID PEPPERMAN comes off a second-place finish at this level on the turf and that was good enough to earn him the moniker of the one to fear.
