#4 FAWN LIEBOWITZ (5-1): Second to odds-on winner on return to main track, steps up off Klopp claim.
#1 ACOSTAMBO (3-1): Stretches out off maiden sprint victory; dam was stakes-placed router.

Race Summary: ALEXAS HOPE saved ground under a snug hold to the far turn in a longer route race last out. She awaited room at the quarter pole, surged through an opening between rivals in early stretch and won easily. She could work out a similar trip in this field. Bet to win and place and play a 2/1, 4, 6/ALL trifecta.


Horseshoe Indianapolis: Race 5

#8 MAD MO (7-2): True colors showed with blinkers and a better start, missed in photo finish.
#1 RUETTIGER (8-1): $675K sales buy debuts off a long series of works at Keeneland.
#2 MODERN LEGACY (6-1): Took serious money but was no threat in debut, changes riders.

Race Summary: MAD MO awakened with blinkers on after a bullet gate workout. He bid 4-wide at the 3/8 pole but was out-kicked by the 8-to-5 winner in a 7-1/2F turf race dominated by closers. Bet to win and place and play a 1-2-8 exacta box.


Horseshoe Indianapolis: Race 6

#8 FOUR STAR GENERAL (2-1): First start for a tag, works encouraging, must avoid another awkward start.
#3 REITERATION (5-1): Runner-up in 7 of 24 starts, ‘improved’ in $15k sprint last out, distance the question.
#5 CONCHO’S PRAYER (3-1): Finished in money from on and off the pace in last pair at this level.

Race Summary: FOUR STAR GENERAL romped to a long-distance maiden win at the Horseshoe 10 months ago. He was no serious threat in four allowance races since then, but if he runs to his comeback workouts and avoids a troubled start that has surfaced several times, he can run past this group. Bet to win and place and play 8-3 and 8-5 exactas.
